Wow where has the year gone, it isn’t long and it will be Christmas! Time flies when you are having fun 🙂
We have a student in the Babies and Toddlers room for the next 7 weeks. Emma Van Bellen is from the University of Auckland and is doing a Graduate Diploma in Teaching. She is looking forward to learning with and alongside your children.
The children have had a busy and fun month in the Babies and Toddlers room. We had a Loud Shirt Day which supports deaf and hearing impaired children. The children all came in brightly dressed and had a delicious shared lunch. It was great to see you all supporting this great cause and your donations were appreciated. We also had a pyjama day in October, we loved seeing all your cute pyjamas. We had a nice relaxed day and had lots of fun.
The children’s interest continues with Five senses and as the weather warms we will be doing a lot more water play. A reminder as the weather is warming up can you please remember to bring spare summer clothes, a named hat, and also remember to sun-block your child in the morning.
Construction is still a hit, and the children have loved role-playing with the construction hats and gear. They have also been getting creative and further developing their motor skills, co-ordination, and imagination with the blocks, in the sandpit, and with the playdough.
