The Five Senses

Can you believe it’s nearly Christmas!

The Babies and Toddler's room has been filled with unique exploring moments over the past few weeks.  We’ve been having plenty of water play, exploring through our senses, and continuing to further the children’s interest in ‘The five senses'. Through these many exploring moments the children are further developing their language skills and fostering their cognitive learning by; pouring, splashing, touching, filling and emptying!   Last week we had a special visit from Tina the Librarian. Tina engaged all the children with a fantastic selection of mat time resources which the children enjoyed interacting with. With the jolly season just around the corner keep an eye out for the many fabulous Christmas creations the children will be bringing home.
